INTRODUCING THE CITIZEN FOLDER

 

The Citizen Folder (Carpeta Ciudadana) in Spain is a digital platform that centralizes a citizen's personal data and interactions with various public administrations. Accessed via a web portal with authentication (like an electronic certificate or Cl@ve), it allows users to view and manage their administrative files, check the status of procedures, receive electronic notifications, and update personal information with different government bodies.

To digitally sign a document, you must bear in mind that you will also need the AutoFirma signature programme.

The Citizen Folder aims to simplify and streamline the relationship between citizens and the Spanish public administration, making it easier to manage administrative tasks and access personal information online. 

On the Citizen's Folder you will have access to:

• My daily folder: In this section you will have a summary of the status of files, applications and notifications made in your relationship with the Generalitat Valenciana. As well as events, priority issues and latest documents.
• Procedures: Through this option you can view different information and access your files, applications, payments (GV Payments application) and notifications. The information is organized in lists that allow you to sort, filter and access the details according to the type of information.
• Certificates: Allows access, in a unified and classified by subject, to the services of obtaining cards or certificates of the Generalitat Valenciana.
• Agenda: Allows you to request appointments, in a unified way, in the different appointment systems of the Generalitat Valenciana.
• Representations: From this option, you can consult the representation authorizations for and by the interested party, as well as the folder access authorizations authorized to Authorized Civil Servant Personnel.
• Help: Contains information about the different functionalities of the citizen folder, it appears when clicking on the user data that appear on the top right.

IMPORTANT: procedures that do not require authentication are not registered in the citizen folder.
