LIRIOS RE-DEVELOPMENT LATEST

The latest situation is that some of the infrastructure work has been completed. The park area has been cleared and the surrounding weeds removed, waterproof treatment to walls and surfaces, tests of the exterior lighting and the water supply connected.
Enquiries from parties interested so far are from different types of businesses eg hair salon, children's shop, a yoga center, a bar and several restaurant concepts but it is early days.
Plans are being updated in order to prepare a proposal with prices that reflect both the current condition of each unit and the market value. As each unit is in a different state they are also analysing the best options to ensure that the proposal is well-reasoned and consistent. Next week VAPF plan to have the catalogue with the current status of the premises (now vacant), including prices and conditions. Those who have already expressed interest will be the first to receive it.
Work at Lirios is still ongoing, there is still work to be done, but significant progress has been made.
Construction workers and electricians are still on site. The lampposts at the back have also been connected, although about half of them need replacing due to their age. All walls have been treated except for the two-storey areas, as they are waiting for special scaffolding.
From the 15th onwards, VAPF will begin cleaning the premises. They have hired a company to take care of the empty units and make them even more attractive.
They continue to receive visits from potential clients, and they say that the feedback has been very positive so far.
Anyone interested in renting premises or in receiving any other information can contact Rossana Ferreyra (Customer Community Manager at VAPF) directly on +34 605 702 363.
One Voice for Cumbre is supporting this venture and hope that it becomes a well supported center when completed.
