NEW RECYCLING BINS ON VISTAMAR STREET

 

We are pleased to confirm that since 9th February, the Town Council has installed seven recycling bins on Calle Vistamar at Pueblo Panorama:

• 1 bin (green) for glass
• 2 bins (blue) for paper
• 2 bins (grey) for general waste
• 2 bins (yellow) for light packaging

In response to repeated requests from OVFC, stickers have been placed on each bin illustrating the contents that should be deposited in each one, and an explanatory poster on recycling has also been put up.

We would like to congratulate Councillor Javi Cabrera, Councillor for New Technologies, Digital Transformation, Transparency, Sports, Agriculture and Waste, for responding to the request for bins on  Vistamar Street. It is a complete makeover that reflects the efforts he is making to improve recycling management in Cumbre del Sol.

We really like the new stickers on the bins and we still think they should be put on all bins at every recycling point because, unfortunately, there is still a lot of confusion about what goes in each bin. These stickers also significantly improve the image of the recycling points.

Thank you Councillor Javi Cabrera for the great work you are doing and congratulations on the excellent results of the door-to-door collection in the village during the first year.
