Women working together achieve great things
In 2021 the European Union of Women Marina Alta (EUWMA) group was set up with its local headquarters in the Lady Elizabeth School on Cumbre del Sol, Benitachell. The organisation is a pan European NGO, with consultative status at the United Nations. There are 40 groups in Spain alone and in 15 countries across Europe. EUWMA has as its purpose providing information to women about women's issues in this area of the Marina Alta and therefore meets in English and Spanish.
You’re invited to their annual meeting!
Join the European Union of Women of the Marina Alta (EUWMA) for our Annual Meeting on Wednesday 21 January, 10 am, at Jávea Golf Club Restaurant.
Look back on a successful 2025 via a lively video review, vote in a new committee (members only), and take part in engaging discussions on key women’s issues — including the worrying rise of misogyny. We’re sure you will soon discover that EUWMA meetings are never boring!
Stay for coffee, conversation, and a sneak peek at plans for International Women’s Day in March and our 4th Art Exhibition in April.
All are welcome. Meet a unique, international community of women promoting friendship, cooperation, and peace across Europe.
Meetings in English and Castellano (with many other languages spoken, so you will always be included).
