Highlights of Espacio Amigos Meeting on 16 October
Hello, friends and neighbours,
Once again, we shared a very enjoyable morning at the El Puig Building with our group, bringing together both familiar faces and new participants. How lucky we are to have such dedicated people so eager to contribute!
I would especially like to thank our councilor, Isabel Garrido, and the head of Civil Protection, Arturo, for their cooperation and for facilitating this meeting. Thanks also to those who helped organize it and livened up the morning with their enthusiasm.
It was a pleasure to have today's guests: Vicente, Karin, and Stefanie, from Sara en Casa, who shared valuable information about care for carers; Juan Carlos, who made us enjoy line dancing; Isolina, Martina, and Sandra, from Los Gatos Felices de Benitatxell and CumbreCats, who informed us about their charitable initiatives.
What a success, what joy, and what satisfaction to see how everyone contributes their part!
We'd love to hear your thoughts on the event and what you'd like to see at future events. Your feedback is very important for us to continue improving and adapting the activities to your interests.
See you on Thursday, November 20th. I'll be writing to you shortly with the program, which will include, among other things, a music workshop led by Toni, the director of the music academy in our municipality.

A mí me gustaría animar a los responsables municipales a apoyar decididamente la iniciativa de Espacio Amigos tanto técnica y organizativamente como también económicamente. Tenemos mucha suerte el poder contar con Isabel Garrido y confiamos en su continuidad. Es una loable iniciativa liderada por Trudi y Margaret que requiere una gran dedicación al margen de sus responsabilidades personales que me consta no son pocas. Sería bueno fuese considerada como propia por todos. Podría ser de interés que el Ayuntamiento organice conferencias y/o se proyecten documentales y se abra un coloquio a posteriori.
