Lighting fires on forest land
The
Regional Ministry for the Environment, Infrastructures and Territory reminds
that from 1 June until 15 October, it is forbidden to light fires on forest
land and within a radius of 500 metres around it. This ban extends to
agricultural and forestry burning, as well as the burning of crop margins.
This
measure aims to minimise the risk of fires during the summer, a period of
greater vulnerability due to the heat and dryness of the environment.
Be very
careful with the use of pyrotechnics and REMEMBER: if you see smoke or fire,
call 112.
