Is there any cost involved?

Bizum has no cost for users. However, it will depend on the policy of each entity; we encourage you to check with your bank.

Is it possible to cancel a Bizum?

Cancelling a Bizum is something that cannot be done, the money transfer is instantaneous. The money reaches the other person and the system establishes the transaction as irrevocable, so you cannot cancel a Bizum that has already been made.

What to do if you send a Bizum to the wrong person

The quickest and most effective solution, which all banks recommend, is to contact the person to whom we have sent the Bizum by mistake, explain what has happened and with a bit of luck the person will return it to us immediately. If the recipient does not return the money, the last alternative is to initiate legal proceedings by filing a complaint for the crime of misappropriation.
