The Council has a duty to run campaigns to encourage both registration on the municipal register and on the electoral roll and is entitled to request technical support from the INE for this purpose. It would be sufficient to cross-reference the data from the municipal register with the records of the electoral roll to identify which residents are not registered on the electoral roll, and then send an official letter to all of them and carry out door-to-door visits to rectify the situation.
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, it’s hard to understand why foreigners don’t register to vote. We all know that elections are held every four years. If we want improvements for Cumbre del Sol, let’s register and vote and make our voices heard and help others do the same. We can do it together for the benefit of everyone!
